greeting gorgeous kootenay folk~
I am seeking some informed recommendations regarding camping spots, swimming destinations and hot springs to visit this summer in the koots and nelson area...
driving directions to nelson area beaches would be lovely (red sands? painted rock?)
any hints are appreciated
hoping your all glowy and content in the sun ;-)

Tubing down the Slocan river from slocan park bridge to Crecent beach. warmer than kootenay river.
River surfing by fastening rope to a plywood board and then to the Slocan park bridge. Get another small rope attached to a handle--put it thru the nose of the board- Stand facing upstream...Grab the handle n pull your nose up and lean right to left to carve............sweet
Paradise---Cliff jumping pool/ ----hazardous spot.-- get a local who knows the lay of the land to take you
i like ainsworth hotsprings............. natural hotsprings can be dangerous to fair skinned ppl like me.
